When packaged this clutch cover/lock looks very promising. It's strong enough and if fitted well will be a real deterrent to trailer thieves. In fact, this product fitted my powerful 2 5/16 clutch so loosely it left all sorts of holes for a pry bar or saw. . Finally, when the inner ball was fully seated and should have provided the best fit possible, the key itself would not release it. I had to crawl in to solve it and each time I got grease on my hands. The included ball lock is practically unnecessary as the clutch cover is so sloppy that it can be removed even with the ball lock in place. clogged. This product may fit some hitches, but my standard hitch doesn't fit! I have to conclude that when advertised to cover different types of clutches it is poorly designed!
