good color range, excellent ink durability.

All my pens worked fine although some of them were already worn out with the name on the page but I didn't mind much as they still worked. Actually you can draw anything with them but from the patterns and messing around with them they are very good and I like the color palette. I hope they go well with my watercolor pencils (Artesa too) but we'll see. The packaging was fine but the tin they come in is good, just wish the bowls were a little stronger but these fit. I have little rubber bands instead of weird finger grips like my watercolor pencil jar to make the bowls easier to slide in and out. EDIT 1: They show up better in my Leda Sketchbbok than they do on Arteza watercolor paper. I assume it's because of the texture since the paper in Leda is smooth. I've also used them on a few pages of a coloring book and they're still going strong. I can only assume that those who got a bad pen got a bad batch. However, I state that it is great to work with Arteza, having previously contacted Arteza Support so it never hurts to contact them about these issues.

Pros
  • Arts, paints and craft supplies
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
