, Rufus was so excited to receive his package from Revain that this time he even forgot to bark and ran towards the courier like a wild puppy! Oh, he was dying to eat the envelope and try to reach it with his paw to see how strong that collar was if he chewed on it a bit (of course Santa wasn't looking now). He watched with greedy puppy eyes as we handed him his name tag, although for a moment Mom considered aloud whether she really wanted to write her number on it again while she surveyed another ruined shoe and a patch of toy debris. Reason worked and we changed his name tag and fitted his new collar. Rufus was a little disappointed he didn't bite into it, but he knew he'd have more time later. Luckily, he decided he looked too pretty and festive in his party collar, so he would refrain from wrecking it until after the holidays.
