very satisfied with the purchase. Excellent value for money and quality. That's why I decided to use a suction cup mount. I don't have CD slots or handy air vents in my fancy car that I prefer for a phone holder. So now I'm choosing between this suction cup mount and the cup holder mount. There's no way I'm going to use the cup holder slot for this, so it's a suction cup. Therefore, I have to choose between a magnetic mount or a clip mount when mounting the suction cup by hand. I choose the clip on holder as I keep credit cards in my phone case and don't want magnets to ruin my cards. Although magnets are very handy. When I receive the box I am surprised at how small it is. I understand they bend the arm to save a lot of space. After straightening the arm, I screw the yoke into the arm extension. Now I'm looking for ways to mount the suction cup. The windshields and side windows work really well, and the flat parts of the dashboard are great too. However, when it comes to positioning in my car, it doesn't work that well. After a day of deliberation, I decided to add a mount to my center console that is plastic and perfect for a suction cup. It holds my phone very well and sits just below the navigation touchscreen. I access my phone to play podcasts and audiobooks. Because the arm is about five inches long, it vibrates a little with the car, but the gooseneck arm is made of a strong and stiff material, so the vibration is not that strong. The suction cup is fairly easy to remove and reattach. So if my passenger wanted to use it to watch videos, I could quickly move it to a spot on the center console that was closer to my passenger. For less than $10 it's really useful and I'm very happy with it.
