I forgot to read the reviews so I also received a set of 4 of 5 decorative base panels torn from the bottom of the boxes. Just to clarify, each box has a solid bottom, and the part that falls off is an extra bottom panel, adorning it with a red border peeking out from under the bottom of the box. That way, the content doesn't fall out of the box due to the missing piece. All you have to do is use some Gorilla Glue to replace the decorative pieces and your set is ready to gift. The recipient was very happy with the beautiful set and the boxes were the perfect size for the 5 pieces I gave her.
