I'm replacing some old cables that have gotten a little finicky/faulty and they have a nice snug fit, nice rubberized finish that feels good and is nice to grip and I like especially the reinforced spring wire where it meets the hard plastic of the connector at both ends. This seems to be a weak point with most cables (including the ones I replace) and bending stress is often the reason why it fails. That spring seems to hold things in alignment to keep them from snapping and it looks like it should be a stronger cord overall.
