These strain relief connectors work well with a variety of cable sizes and insulation types. They are easy to use, seal well against water, oil and other liquids and have excellent mechanical resistance. They can be easily taken apart and reused with a new cable. I've been using them for many years. The only breakage I've ever had was from overtightening the cap with pliers. All you need is a hand cocker. I recently used these connectors for several thin pairs of 24AWG sensor wires that needed protection. I routed the wires through 1/4" ID clear vinyl tubing which I then processed into a power cord. Excellent!
