The clamp is plastic which means the lifespan of this thing is shorter than I would ideally like it to be. The gooseneck is a tough piece of flexible material, which means it has a shorter lifespan than I was hoping for, but it also means the thing is a wobbly mess. It's fine if you lean part of it against something you're attaching it to (in my case, a monitor attached to a monitor arm) for stability, but it's mostly imaged in free-float mode, which is very is prone to wobble.
