Review on 📶 Linksys N750 Dual-Band Gigabit Router with USB Ports, Smart Wi-Fi App for Remote Network Control (EA3500) by Brett Gilbert

I am a victim of technological inertia. If it works, even if it's maybe a bit slow, I don't want to replace it if it works. It's not that I don't like shiny new things. It's just a pain to move, reconfigure etc etc. I'm too lazy. So I was very happy with this router when I first got it many years ago. I've never been particularly happy with the 5GHz band, but I understood the battle the signal was going through in my old house, and every router struggled. However, as neighborhood interference increased as everyone added devices and routers, that router lost the ability to automatically switch to the best channel and my performance is terrible now. It eventually got to the point where I hard coded a channel that appears to be where it should be most of the time according to some diagnostic software I have. It's better, but it's not a viable long-term solution. Today I ordered three Orbi mesh routers to replace this one and added an extender. I will come back in another 5 years to replace them. ;-)
