* DANGEROUS low quality construction *. Bad soldering. Use with caution!

This unit is cheap in terms of cost and quality. As the saying goes, "You get what you pay for". Upon powering up, I checked the unit's output on my NIST-calibrated Fluke 289 multimeter to make sure all voltages were within acceptable limits. DANGER. 230V outlet was *NOT* plugged in/working! Finding this with my meter I started opening up the device and seeing if the point of failure was obvious. Indeed it was! Soldering on almost ALL the terminals was terrible. See photos. The wire from ground 110V to ground 230V was not even connected! Mistake! Note #2: *** ATTENTION. Also, I noticed that the unit's ground wire (green ground) from the mains outlet was dangerously insufficient! A tiny 16AWG conductor is used instead of at least 14AWG (or ideally 12AWG). Caution #3: This device only uses 10A input jacks! This is a problem as virtually all outlets are rated for 15A or 20A. It is clear that the device is undersized and underestimated. In summary, this is a true low-end device with countless cutting corners. The buyer should be careful.
