I have a Galaxy Active 2 that I have been using for a year now. I have an illness that causes my heart to beat faster than normal when I'm forced to run, walk, and do other things. The watch is good for measuring resting heart rate but not accurate for activity. No matter which one you buy or how much you spend, the top of your wrist isn't the best place to check your heart rate. My watch showed a heart rate of 85 while cycling when it was actually 140. She was 75 walking when she was actually 120. I decided I needed something specific and turned to chest straps. I didn't want or need anything expensive, just something that was accurate and could be used to monitor my heart rate while walking or cycling. I thought it was a great price, easy to use and that's all I need. It worked. Perfect for me! I only use the Wahoo app and HR strap and the app and strap are so easy to use, accurate and I actually like the app more than the Samsung Health app on my watch. I still don't take my watch off, but I use the HR Strap and the Wahoo app for walking or cycling. I wanted to set it up so that I could see my HR on the watch with this HR Strap via the app, but then I didn't want any other app on my watch. I figured I had my old phone that I wasn't using so I used my wifi to download the Wahoo app, connected it to my watch and the spare phone I use on my bike and I can get it all on see a good screen . better than the clock. I still keep my phone with me but I don't need to use this battery so this has worked fine for me. I come home and after connecting to wifi it syncs with the Wahoo app I have installed on my phone which I use daily. I've used it about 3 times already and forgot to "wet" the back to get good contact and reading. And it's still worked for me every time and I've never lost connection or touch! I have no regrets and should have gotten this a long time ago!
