It was difficult to get everything clean enough to apply the film without a few small bits of sand causing bubbles in the new film. But if you don't look closely, it's difficult to notice them. This stuff doesn't look like it's there. Now this has been used on the shower window, which is for light in rather than looking out (it's a small, tall window that nobody can see in. We're not exhibitionists). So maybe I would feel differently. if I were to use this footage on a giant picture window to see some sort of panorama or something like that. But for what I've used it for, it's perfect (required by building codes to make a window "tempered" in case you're 7ft and slip in the shower and bang on the window).
