This scarf arrived exactly as described and the positive reviews helped me make a purchase that I have no regrets. The anticipated folds and creases on the new packaging were easily and smoothly ironed out with a steam iron. The fabric falls in a slight crease over the knot (not too thick and stiff). Haven't washed it yet but plan to hand wash gently. A NOTICE. However, this scarf does not have a sewn-on label with fabric information or care instructions. I have no idea what the actual blend is but I'm pretty sure there is NO cashmere at this price point! "Simply soft like cashmere"
