USB: I gave away my pair of speakers because the USB port didn't work. A Klipsch rep told me this is normal for these speakers. My symptoms were that when I plugged speakers into one of my computer's USB 2.0 ports, I got an error message from Windows 10 that the USB device was defective. Klipsch asked me to try two different USB cables, which I did, and then they shipped my speakers and sent me a new pair. The new pair gave me the same USB device failed error on two USB 2.0 ports on my computer. I can't honestly say I remember trying this with the original pair from Revain, but I tried plugging them into a USB 3.0 port and they worked! When connected to USB 3.0, Windows immediately sets the speakers as the primary hearing aid. I had a similar issue with Windows 10 and my new Huawei Mate 10 Pro phone with a USB-C port. The phone came with a USB-C to USB 2.0 cable (I assume it is USB 2.0 is because it doesn't have the extra 5 ports in the connector, found on the USB 3.0 or 3.1 port). When I plug my phone into a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port on my computer, Windows 10 gives the exact same error stating that the USB device is defective. The only way I can sync this phone to my computer is to connect it to my computer's only USB 3.1 port or to my computer's USB-C port with a USB-CC cable. It's like Windows replaced the old "This device can run faster" from Windows XP with a crash message and completely disconnected the connected device. Who knows, hopefully Windows fixes this soon! Bluetooth: You must either press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote or press and hold the volume knob while already on a Bluetooth input for the speakers to enter discovery mode. The blue indicator flashes at a medium speed when you turn it on and select the Bluetooth input, which means it is not connected and is NOT in discovery/discovery mode. If you press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote or the volume button, the blue light will flash faster, and if it flashes faster, it's in discovery mode! You can also read in other reviews that you have to reconnect these speakers every time you want to listen to music. That was true for my iPhone 6S+ but now I have a Huawei Mate 10 Pro with Bluetooth 4.2 and this phone will automatically connect to these speakers as soon as they turn on and they actually stay connected to the speakers when they are on but not configured to the Bluetooth input. I really like the sound quality of these speakers, amazing vocal and bass response. It often confuses me that there is no subwoofer in the room. The tweeters have incredible voice reproduction. When you listen to Pink Floyd's Money, the sounds of saxophone and coins are perfectly audible. I think this song is one of the best to judge the accuracy of the speakers because everyone heard the coins falling and many people personally heard the sounds of the saxophone.
