Review on 🎧 YouVogue ZST - Hifi Balanced Armature Headphones IEM Noise Cancelling Earphones with Detachable and Replaceable Cable, Non-Mic Version by Chad Slaughter

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A sub $20 double hybrid worth having.

Kz has achieved incredible success with very small dynamic drivers (what most people mistake for traditional speakers) and innovative design. However, switching to a dual hybrid design (1+BA and 1+dynamic) is a fairly easy fix. BA (Balanced Armature) dynamic mid and high processing with a fairly average hybrid sound signature. Sounds pretty bumpy, doesn't it? That's in the middle with Kz - decent sound quality for almost every genre of music and the ability to listen for long periods without tiring. What I like about the ZST is the comfort, the detachable cables and the price. What surprised me about the ZST was that it didn't have as much brilliance in the highs. I began to associate that shine with a good ba. The sub-bass is also missing a bit. But since I expected (because it's KZ) that this sub-$20 device would sound basically like any other $69-$100 headphone, you can see the flaw in my reasoning. But it's close and very useful, a good solid device just without the magic you'll find in some Kz products and a few double hybrids. Now that I was less than thrilled with Zst. This is the second pair I've bought and prefer to use them in situations e.g. B. working on my car (new clutch and rear main seal installed), cleaning gutters around the house before it rains, on occasions when I'd rather not use them. my usual day-ears (Triple Hybrids 2+ ba 1+ dyn Dunu, Astrotc or FLC) and I like them, which ultimately matters. So it's worth owning.
