Not a bad piece of equipment. Place it on your chest and it turns on and works almost immediately. Connects flawlessly to my Garmin 735XT. A bit disappointed in his swimming inconsistencies. I had a hard time getting him to stay connected while swimming underwater, even though he claims to be "good at swimming" according to the addendum. It connects immediately after being no longer immersed in water. I am giving it a low rating because I bought it on purpose hoping it would be good for swimming. I guess I should just spend my money on a Garmin Swim Device. It's lightweight and I've found it effective for running and cycling, but I wouldn't recommend it for swimming. I used it for a triathlon last week and it worked well with no complaints other than heart rate data post swim literally as soon as I got in the water. I think I would return it if I still had the packaging but since I don't have it I will use it until it stops working.
