I bought this particular item because I needed 14 steps (I didn't use it on pedestals). Other brands had less and I had to buy two boxes. I've had them for a month now and they still stand out even in my very dry climate. They are so easy to install that they can be easily moved without damaging the flooring. I don't understand how they work, but they work! My dog can now walk up and down stairs on his own! Fiction. I ordered the brown one and it really shows the lint. I haven't vacuumed them yet. I can use a lint brush. I can see the white underside a little off the ground. But I'm fine because I need this for my older dog. I can look for more colors/patterns on other brands. But these work great!
