Review on 💻 AWOW NYi3 Mini PC - Intel Core i3 5005U, 8GB DDR, 128GB M.2 SSD, Windows 10 Pro - 4K Support, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Gigabit Ethernet, Dual HDMI, Bluetooth by Tony Cole

I can't believe I got this computer for the money. $189 ($30 coupon was available) and got a 2.8GHz quad-core Intel VT-x processor, USB 3.1 Gen 1, 128GB SSD, 8GB RAM, built-in Ethernet and HDMI, and a Windows 10 Pro license. You can even add an internal 2.5" SATA III drive (be careful not to lose the special cable you need!). I have Linux installed here, Docker and QEMU/KVM installed and am using it mindlessly for home automation tasks including file server, Pi Hole DNS, VPN proxy, Home Assistant etc. The hardware is custom made by Awow but uses standard chipsets provided by major Linux distributions are supported; I didn't have to compile drivers or even download binaries. The build quality is excellent, better than I expected for the money. You won't be playing games on this thing, but it perfectly decodes H.264 and H.265 videos via Intel QuickSync, making it a great choice for an HTPC Kodi build.
