I like that the dress is slightly flared and has an A-line, which allows her to learn how to dress in a room. However, this dress runs small. And I mean small because my daughter is 6 and we bought a 6T. She is very small and below average in size and weight. Usually we have to buy 4/5T when she was 5 years old and so on. I thought the 6T would give her room to grow, but it was just perfect, above her knee. So I returned it and bought the same one from 7T. If your child is average height or taller, I would recommend taking at least 2 sizes up just for the length.
