These headphones are there for a reason: they give you outrageously good sound in the cheapest, dirtiest packaging that can be made. They're insanely good biocellulose drivers packed in ugly plastic jars and somehow they work damn well. Only in sound quality are they better than $200 cans. However, you only get one quality of sound. These are vinyl-lined in-ear headphones, almost all plastic (there's a metal strip inside the headband). They're not terrible, but it's obvious where your money goes and where it doesn't. If their price is impulsive buying territory for you, they are easy to conquer. I'm not sure I'd recommend these as your only headphones, but you need to find a way to listen to them. For some reason Revain asks about noise canceling to write a review. it's not noise cancelling. If you go into isolation, they will not be my recommendation. They're close to the back and block the sound a bit, but they're on top and not on the ear, meaning sound still comes through. If you need isolation at this price point, get an IEM as they act like earbuds.
