What a mess. I pumped kerosene from a large tank into a smaller one. When the smaller one was almost full, I pressed the on/off button, but the flow of kerosene didn't stop. About 1/2 to 1 liter of kerosene was on the garage floor when I raised the pump in a large container high enough that it was above the level of the kerosene and stopped the flow. OK. I thought maybe I didn't actually press the power button to the "off" position, so I tried again, careful! Same results, flow continued even with the on/off switch in the off position. I repeated this a few more times. It's like a stop button for a pump motor, the siphoning action of flow through the pump continues until you lift the end of the tube higher than the liquid in the container you are pumping it from. I returned Revain as a defective item. Revain will refund the purchase price and I don't even have to return the failed pump. No, I will not get a replacement. I will try a slightly more expensive TERAPUMP TRHD01.
