Congratulations, our Shangri-La blinds have arrived - estimated 4 weeks early! Pleasant Surprise (Expected delivery was 5 weeks later, but 5 days after receiving 'Your item has shipped' notification that they have arrived. 1) Order: I was impressed that I was contacted directly by Yoolax and before anyone else to place an order Confirmation of dimensions (width, height) was requested, cut to size. Nice gesture. 2) Assembly: Mechanically very simple, a screwdriver, 5 minutes, the mounting bracket was fitted and the blinds snapped into place. Light breeze. Remote Control: Well, here are some surprises waiting for us. There was no battery in the remote control, you need a strange 3V battery - CR 2450 button. To be honest they replied within 1/2 day to sort out the issue. [It turns out that each blind has a large internal battery, which Yoolax has an export and transport permit for. However, they don't make the tiny little button battery, which means they can't supply it! Welcome to the strange world of modern runaway bureaucracy. I blame Yoolax for not making this clear at the point of sale. Okay, one order from Revain, $3 and 2 days later the battery is there. And Yolax gave me $3 back. Thanks.] Now they work, lowering/raising is great. but wait: they don't go all the way up, but at the bottom they pull back up too far, huh? It was completely unclear how to program the upper/lower limit. Press P2*1 to press the P2 button once until everything is ok. But the engine shake and "D" * 1 became clearer, perhaps to mean "D" = one pip. Sometimes "Di"*4 emits 4 beeps, but not always as instructed. Finally, another brave soul from Revain mentioned that you must REMOVE programmed limits first before you can program them yourself! For real? The manual doesn't mention this, of course. Long story short, after 30 minutes of frustrating trying, everything is great and great, and they work great. Finally, the hub we bought (to control via Siri/Alexa etc. is not included, Yoolax confirms it was forgotten in the shipment and is now being shipped separately. Overall I gave it a 5 star rating as it's beautiful and cheap and we love them but you really need a laser focus when you program them And guys remember to buy that battery when you order them Cheers update April 24th 2020 My HUB has arrived it promises Alexa /google and siri com household and lo and behold the iOS app is broken it crashes every time you open it it happens on iPhone XR and iPhone 8 your tech support is working on it a warning if you plan to using the hub on iOS. They are still amazingly responsive! Within 1 hour of contacting them about the issue, they responded, confirmed the issue, and refunded the hub price. Y oolax is still much better than everyone else in terms of volume! Two thumbs up.
