Not sure but I ordered 2 printheads for my ipf8300 and each only lasted about a month. Never had this problem in the past and the printer works perfectly. Just replaced the printhead with another printhead ordered directly from Canon. I will update as soon as a few months pass. Then I can determine if it really was the printheads or my printer. Definitely a lot of money for something that doesn't work. The printer only has a total print capacity of 2,800 square feet, so it's practically brand new. with a machine with so little mileage, there shouldn't be such problems with the print head. I'll change my review if it was the unit, but Canon tech support is now leaning towards heads purchased from Revain.
