This is not just a cloakroom light. I use it to help night visitors as an entry/exit light near gates where I don't have electricity. I used sticky magnetic tape attached to a 1" x 2" 18" tree to attach the LED. I can move the light around when I want and can easily detach it to charge the battery with the included Micro USB charging cable to charge.I set mode 1 (motion and light sensor mode) so it only works at night when motion is detected within 10ft of light.The initial battery charge took about 2 hours.I have similar lights although not as bright as this 78 led version. They charge in around 4 to 6 hours but the battery only needs to be charged twice a year. Of course this will vary with usage but that was my experience. Visitors always express their gratitude for the extra light when walking in a dark place.
