a year ago. Great all night fan. I prefer a light breeze with the windows open to a strong wind in my face, despite the pendulum function of the stand. This works great, but there is some minor ripple that starts after a minute or two, in addition to the normal fan hum. I've done everything I can to reduce the vibration, but it persists. I have this above my bed in my 8' x 15' room, on a cup hook, with another cup hook at the top of the wall to run the cord to the side of my bed, and then plugged into the USB hub on the bedside table . I painted the entire block using Blackened Bronze water-based craft paint and a paper towel for the blades and a small brush for the rest. Then I smeared on some 24k craft paint to give it some texture and to match my linerboard. Looks like this is the place in the room now!
