So bought some time ago and had two problems from day one. so I decided to finally give an update. First, the shaft that the pulley is mounted on only slides 3/16" in and out of the pump housing with my calipers before installation. My old 172k pump worked less than twice that. Second, it was NOISE. It was installed with ALL NEW COMPONENTS. (rack and pinion, lines, coolant, fluids, everything.) It still has the sound of air in the system when it doesn't. Not a single bubble. What I will notice is, that it has used less than 5,000 in total and the liquid is already dark and smells burnt. Before we settle on anything here please note that I really know what I'm doing and have rebuilt a lot of engines, pumps and gear so YES it was installed correctly and filled with the correct fluids Not so cheap fake branded fluids Lines, radiator and range & sprockets are all OEM Mopar parts At the time of purchase you can I couldn't get my hands on an OEM pump, so I went with Cardone. I DEFINITELY EXPECTED SOMETHING BETTER. It's got a little more Play Now and it still sounds rough, but it works. I'm not sure I would recommend stopping this replacement.
