The data transfer is not the fastest, but ok for my purposes. I don't use them much, but recently I was copying some files back and forth when suddenly the flash drive stopped working, so I "ejected" the flash drive, but Win10 said it "didn't reacted". When I physically removed the drive from the USB port, I noticed that it was very hot. I removed the unit and let it cool, then put it back in. Win10 immediately said the hard drive needed repairing, but couldn't fix it, and the hard drive warmed up again within a minute.
