First of all it seems broken or buggy. According to the manual, the Linksysxxxxx network should appear when you turn it on, but it doesn't. Impossible for anyone without expert experience to overcome. The workaround was to connect to the hidden SSID using the provided network name and password. Second. I just realized that this router is missing a very simple feature that has been present in Wi-Fi routers for 15+ years: you can't hide the network name and also configure (limit) its transmit power. I only wanted to use the 2.4G network for security/smart home hosts. You cannot hide the SSID. In return it creates a hidden network (always, regardless of network/guest settings) - this must be a bug. Returned One more thing - it's big! I mean more than I expected. About 10" x 7.5" and the wall mounting holes are silly (only 2 and the router mounts vertically with cables on the right side).
