The product worked very well on my GL502VSK for about 4 months. Now it will only charge when the charging cable connected to the outlet is in a cocked position. The wiring here is quite thick, so I don't see why this problem should occur. Also, I was careful not to stretch the wire during charging. My particular model may have been defective but it is very disappointing that this problem has arisen months after the free return window. If you need a replacement charger for your laptop I still think this is one of the best products you can buy as long as it fits your specs. Replacement power adapters from the ASUS website are much more expensive and the reason you buy a new adapter is because the ASUS charger has already broken for you. This issue may be related to the poor build quality of the GL502, but for an expensive laptop it is very disappointing that this issue persists.
