If you prefer overclocked CPU cooling to quiet, you've found an amazing fan on the other side of the spectrum. It's definitely not very quiet, but wow, it's very powerful. At the moment I have this installed in my PC build as a ceiling intake fan. It can only be installed on the radiator itself in the future. In its current position, however, it is very close to the heatsink of the CPU cooler. I set it to idle below 800 rpm but shift it into a higher gear at more critical temperature levels. Does its job really well in terms of balance between performance and noise. The fan actually sounds pretty cool at full speed. This inspired me to buy another one for a future case build idea. Both fans are mounted as case fans to give the appearance of a twinjet engine with 120mm cylinders protruding from the front of the case. The LED indicators are also programmed to glow bright amber/orange when the fan speed is increased or decreased.
