I got a new bike and wanted to mount the computer on the stem at an angle to the handlebars. Although it was shown in the promotional photo, the instructions never mentioned how to hide the block from the handlebar mount format. I checked the reviews and found that you have to loosen the 4 screws on the back panel, rotate 90 degrees and reattach. The rest was easy as I have installed similar blocks on other bikes. YouTube and user reviews offer some good advice if the instructions make you think. I used a tire chart instead of a rollout measurement for more accuracy, but I found it matched well with what I'm getting from the applications (MapMyRIde and AllTrails). As another user pointed out, if you stop for 5 minutes or more, the device will go to sleep, requiring you to press a button to wake it up again. If you stop for less than 5 minutes, it will start tracking when you start rolling again. I sometimes wear +2.5 readers, but I can easily see this display. In general very satisfied. UPDATE (6/28/2021) - Twice during long drives this device stopped working. It seems to go into reboot mode, and then I have to turn it back on and reset the bus, date, and other demographics. I usually have redundant systems for distance, but I like instant feedback on my speed. So I'm deducting a few stars from my original 4.
