Review on Volumizer Professional Negative Anti Frizz Straightening by Kristin Rogness

Not all in one unit like I was hoping

This hair dryer has a lot of power and dries my very thick, medium length hair (about 3 inches below my collarbone) fairly quickly. I also really like that it's not too heavy and I can use it without tiring my hands. My main complaints about this product are: 1.) my hair doesn't get smooth and sleek like with other hot styling tools. There are lots of strands of hair that keep my natural wavy texture mixed with stylish parts and overall slightly curly unkempt/semi-done hair. 2.) The oval shaped barrel allows you to twist the top and bottom of the shot nicely about 50/50. In most cases I end up with a few sections that are either straight (but not smooth as hell) or slightly curled back at the ends. 3.) I don't find that this product makes my hair as voluminous as I thought it would. I've tried fixing everything with many different products: blow-out balms, leave-in conditioners, hair oils and serums, hair masks, texturizing sprays, finishing sprays, volumizing mousses...alone and in combination, you name it it, but I still can't get the desired result with this one tool. My reason for purchasing this dryer was solely because of this; Having a tool to blow dry and style my hair, which saves time and makes my everyday life shorter and easier. I've also noticed that whatever style I go for tends to flatten out and fall out at lunchtime. It just ends up looking messy and unfinished. My hair breaks a bit from constant styling and naturally has loose waves. As I said, it is VERY thick, but at the same time soft and slightly curly. I lighten my hair and cut it 2-3 times a year on average, so I have some damage, but mostly just the ends. I found it easy to hide and straighten everything with my flat iron, curling iron or blow dryer and brush (if I have the right brush for the job). I've been using this round drybrush for over 2 months. , but by then I was sick of my hair looking messy and my style never being right and decided to just go back to my old routine. Maybe it's just my lack of skill or my hair, but for me, this remedy was so-so at best.
