Too big for small children - maybe better for teenagers or small adults

Three stars because the bag is well designed and well packaged so it could be a good gift. I have several hydration packs (pictured) and my kids (8 and 5) carry adult hydration bags when we travel. With a few strap adjustments I was able to get some of my very small hydration bags to work for them, but I thought it would be great to get a bag that was actually made for their size. I couldn't believe how big it was! It would be a standard regular backpack for a kid to carry some snacks, but it's bigger than any other adult hydration pack I've had! The bladder capacity is the same as all my other bags, but the quality isn't very good either. The straw tube isn't removable so I don't know how I feel about cleaning it up, especially for kids who tend to be less careful with backwashing during snack time. The opening of the bladder is small, which makes it difficult to fill with ice cubes and water, and a special brush or tool is also required to clean the corners of the bag. not going hiking but just want a backpack to carry stuff, this one will probably do the trick. It will probably work well for a teenager or small adult as well.

Pros
  • Large capacity waterproof backpack
Cons
  • Expensive
