Review on 🔒 Master Lock 4697D: Convenient Combination Accepted Lock for Ultimate Security by Sharon Weston

I bought 2 of these locks and at first they were great locks. The cable entry and exit mechanism was a little finicky. But someone just cut them through - cut them right out of a locked drawer with no problem. I was surprised to find that one of the brackets was reinforced with steel wire and the other bracket had no reinforcement at all - it was just hollow plastic. So I wouldn't recommend them for lockers, luggage etc that someone can easily break into. What is the meaning of the lock? They're also limited in the letters they provide, so I couldn't use the passwords I wanted, but I still found words that would work. I wish they had a better choice of letters.
