Review on ๐Ÿ’ป SubZERO Gaming Tenkeyless Keyboard Wrist Rest Pad - Stitched Edges, Black, 14.5โ€x4โ€x1โ€ by Anferny Pineda

The search for the perfect keyless palm rest continues.

Personally, this wrist rest is unsuitable for me, unfortunately it's very difficult to find a keyless wrist rest that I like to use. A wrist rest is almost a must for me, I don't feel comfortable without it and have had surgery on my left wrist, so it's relatively important for me to keep it straight to avoid pain. The material is too scratchy, almost like high grit sandpaper. It makes grating noises when you move your hand over it and it's just plain uncomfortable. I'm not sure whose idea it was, but that alone makes this wrist rest unsuitable for me. - It's too big for my liking, but I can't fault it as some people might have larger keyboards. - Hair and dust are a magnet, also because of the material. This wrist rest gets a few things right: - It's a much firmer foam compared to pretty much every other wrist rest I've used so I prefer it - although the height is too high for a standard gmmk profile or drop - The non slip backing is really nice and doesn't slide on the table like some others I've used. The gmmk keyless pad is the best I've found so far, but it discolors easily and doesn't have a very good non-stick coating. However, I can't recommend it to anyone as the stuff is so bad.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Out of fashion
