I read several reviews before buying this product. One review in particular stands out that almost stopped me from buying this lock. The reviewer stated that the instructions were difficult to understand and the combination could not be changed, resulting in the product being returned. One of the reasons that drew me to this particular master lock was the ability to personalize the combination. Well I'll try, the instructions are simple. Set the lock to the original code, press and hold the reset button when changing the code and lock the lock to set. Valya, you are great! I will order more! I can only assume that it was the user's error that caused their dissatisfaction.
