Review on 🌐 Enhanced 2nd Gen Liquid-Filled Slip-on Compass Set for Watchbands or Paracord Bracelets - Type-III 4pc by Juan Simpson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Suitable for compass direction. Fits both of my Casio watches. Helps the vets twice. GOOD FOR ORIENTATION.

OK. Find out what you need first before you buy. Most of the negative reviews I've seen are either just a bad compass or people like "I want something for free". The compasses I received all worked but were not out of the box. Also, they are NOT meant to be navigated. There are a few things to do when you first get them. When you take them out of the packaging, put them in a warm and flat place for a while. At first they were read randomly. In the evening I put them on the dining table. This allows them to settle down after being abandoned during transport. Also make sure they are at least 6 inches apart during this time. As I said before, you know what you need and what the tool is for. These are very inexpensive push button compasses. They are intended to give you a general north bearing. That's all. The ones I have do fine. The only other thing they're really made for is to fit on a bracelet or watch band. They fit my Casio AE-1000W (Digital World Clock) and Casio MRW-200H (Analog). I've been using them for a few weeks and just made a road trip by car from Wichita, Kansas to San Antonio. tx I made several stops in both directions and checked one at each stop on the AE-1000W as I got out of the car using my GPS/compass phone app. and it was pretty accurate. They all appear to range from directly magnetic north to a few degrees south. Good enough to show me where north is. That's all I have it for. Bottom line, the ones I have are great for at-a-glance orientation. In addition, a veterinarian colleague helps to bring them here. QCs are probably not that good and they are not navigable. but what do you expect for about a dollar apiece?
