Review on 🐱 Oster Sunny Seat Window-Mounted Cat Bed - Supports up to 50 lbs by Kristen Rohr

I've had cats all my life and I know how finicky they can be. I recently adopted a homeless man and wanted to find him his own little spot in my bedroom, but I was worried about what he would want. I found the Sunny Seat and bought it despite the bad reviews. I'm SO glad I did. Tucker LOVES it and he just gives me a little hug before returning to his pole. A few tips: I got concerned when I saw a review that said their cat was stuck on the line and I noticed Tucker too. tries to bite and play with the leash. So I went to a hardware store and bought some clear, hollow, flexible tubing (it's about 14 cents a foot) and used scissors to cut it straight so I could lay it straight on the line. I would highly recommend this, you hardly even know it's there and I feel so much better about my cat's safety and cord protection. (I've included a photo of Tucker's client on the bed if you'd like to see what the tube looks like). I also went to the pet store and bought a very small fleece kennel bed to pad and the size is perfect, looks like it was made for the Sunny Seat. And I ordered a toy with a suction cup from Revain so he doesn't drop the toy over the edge of the bed. I noticed that some reviews also say they noticed a strong chemical smell on the bed - I didn't have a problem with that. If you're concerned about this, I suggest going to Bed Bath and Beyond so you can take it out of the box to smell it and make sure you're okay before you buy it. Overall this was the best product I have ever bought for a pet. It's solid and sturdy, it's the perfect size and is the only bed I've found besides my own that I can't get my cat out of. ********************* ************** UPDATE It's been nine months and Tucker is still loving this bed at ten times more than anything else I've bought him. He sleeps in it when he's not sleeping with me. this is his main place in the house. Several friends have bought it on my recommendation and their cats love the sun seat just as much. The awfully cold winter we've just had has sometimes caused the odd suction cup to slip off, which does everything else related to glass, for example. a sudden change in temperature, but whenever it happens I quickly clean that area of the glass and put the suction cup back on. It never quite falls off until I get to it. Also, my cat is no longer interested in the string attached to the top two suction cups. Answered the phone with no problems. I have a feeling that most cats also lose interest in playing with her once the bed isn't new. However, I can wholeheartedly recommend this product!
