Review on Digital Electric Air Pump Compressor Outdoor Recreation and Accessories by Jaleel Pruitt

Serious modification required to work with 3rd party valves

Pros - Inexpensive, can be modified to work, support emailed me and tried to solve my problem, apparently have several valve adapter packs for some other applications Cons – Out of the box only works with SUPs with Halkey Roberts valves such as B. Valves (valve length 0.93" and adapter 0.785 dia. have a tube with a non-glued adapter but you need to check with customer service) with Leafield C7/D7 valves as on NRS and some other SUPs. To modify a Leafield C7/D7 valve, use a hacksaw to cut the supplied HR valve (Photo 1), attach the clamp to the remaining existing hose (important before fitting a new valve) you will use an Xacto knife to cut the "comb" of the Leafield C7/D7 valve which you can get from NRS for $10.40 shipping (photo 2/3) C7/D7 is very difficult (impossible) to fit into the hose to fit unless you cut it Clean the Leafield plug and the inside of the supplied hose with isopropyl alcohol and lubricate the remaining Leafield adapter plug dry with plenty of seawater silicone sealant (Photo 4). COMPLETELY into the hose that comes with the SLPUMP10 Wipe off excess sealant well, press the hose clamp FULLY TO THE SURFACE for maximum contact (Photo 5) Press the hose clamp firmly (do not tighten or you may deform the new adapter and cause it to leak) wait 6-24 hours to set the marine sealant. I got the original Leafield C7/D7 adapter from the hand pump that came with my NRS SUPs. I need a replacement C7/D7 to get the hand pump working again (see above). The pump shuts down as specified; It takes about 1 bottle of beer for the SUP to reach a usable pump. The pump with the included Leafield adapter from the SUP manufacturer cost 4 times more than this Serene Life SLPUMP10 so it was worth changing the adapter.
