Review on πŸͺ‘ Minimalistic 2-Tier Square Side Table: Versatile Solution for Small Spaces in Living Room or Bedroom by Sarah Jackson

3.75 stars - good table but mine is wobbly and not level

Introduction: Overall I definitely like this table. It's not too wide, the construction is pretty solid, and the color matches my floor and other furniture. However, there were a few assembly issues, and once everything was complete I couldn't get my table to stop unsteadily without putting shims under the legs to level the table. What's good about this table? 1. Overall assembly was not difficult. The instructions were simple (and necessary). It took me 20 minutes to assemble.2. The table is sturdy enough and doesn't look cheap although I doubt the description says it will hold 100 pounds. Personally, I wouldn't bet more than €50. on this one, albeit on Volume 3. It is a versatile piece of furniture that can be used as a bedside table, coffee table, coffee or coffee table, reading table and many other uses. It is lightweight and can be easily moved when needed. What can be improved? 1. Like the other reviewer, I had a little trouble with alignment and screw threading, although it all worked out in the end. The internal threads of the screw roots weren't always smooth, so I had to back out and start over some of the screws a few times because they weren't screwed in properly. Also, like the same reviewer, I had an alignment issue with one of the crossbars. I ended up putting in a size "C" (smallest) screw, but the cross member should have been more aligned. 2. As mentioned above, I couldn't keep the table straight, it kept rocking. I spent 15 minutes after assembly putting twisted tape on the bottom of the legs to keep it flat. I'll try some felt pads as a more permanent solution. This part is disappointing. The tape worked for now, but I'm wondering if anyone else had the same issue. I wish the metal mesh shelf could be raised higher. If like me you have flex issues, this isn't a shelf that gets much use, which is a shame. Conclusion: In general, I like the table. There were some minor assembly issues, e.g. B. the screws were not 100% aligned or screwed in smoothly and then wobbled. Luckily I was able to get everything working. At this price point ($30-$35 at the time of this writing) I'd say it's not a bad deal overall as I've been reviewing end tables and bedside tables lately and they aren't as cheap as you might hope. This table was a good choice and the right size for my purposes and I will put it to good use.
