8 people live in our house. Our leather sofas are 13 years old and had several small holes that quickly became big enough to fit your hand through. I ordered these hoping all the reviews are correct. I can restore the cushions like we just did on our antique sofa, but I didn't want the hassle. YOU LOOK FANTASTIC! 6 children (13-25 years old) were very impressed. My husband didn't even realize it wasn't real leather. Yes, you can tell by sitting on it or by feeling it, but it looks so much better than torn, worn leather. My sofas are a little deeper than the cover so I wasn't sure how they would work. It stretches a little, but that's not a problem. They don't come off the cushions, the cover just lifts up a little so you can sometimes see the underside. Not the end of the world and MUCH cheaper and faster than buying stuff to fix yourself or paying for it! I originally ordered 1 set because I was VERY skeptical. After a week of use I ordered another set to cover the sofa and armchair!
