This jigsaw works. But I can't say it's a great product. This puzzle is part of the Matrix series from B&B. Which uses an electric drill drive and allows you to install various accessories such as a jigsaw, grinder or oscillating tool. The fact that you can easily buy the item as an accessory and mount it on the body of the drill makes storage very easy. However, compared to my last jigsaw, which had a laser beam, a swivel to cut at precise angles, a small storage compartment for the blades, and a metal bar to hold the object to be cut and the saw (for a straight cut). , this puzzle falls. This puzzle doesn't have any of those bells and whistles. It works, but I wouldn't use it to cut something that needs to look like it was done by a pro. You can have it cut straight (I'm sure the Pro can do that). However, this may seem like a daunting task for the average DIYer. Cutting accurately measured items can in itself be a very time consuming task without also considering bad cuts and trying to fix them. But the saw's vibration can move any object you use to keep it straight. I wish Black and Decker would have included some of the parts that come standard on most other saws.
