Works great! I went into a house with pets everywhere. The smells of animals and garbage filled the air. I put it on and the smell went away I think completely! I have asthma and my nose runs very quickly from dust, pet dander, certain odors and chemicals. There are no problems here! I trim my facial hair as close as possible and it still gives a very good seal. They recommend that you shave so that you have skin contact with the mask to ensure the best possible seal. Combine this with the 3M Rugged Comfort Quick Latch 6503QL/49492 Large Size Reusable Respirator and you will breathe so easy! I've noticed that I have breathing problems but because I have asthma I probably notice it more, I'm sure people who don't have this condition will breathe normally.
