More like silk than the feel of satin
If you've ever owned real silk, you know what I mean. These pillowcases borrow from that 'feel'; soft but soft "blunt talc". If you've ever had satin sheets - the top sheet will NEVER stay on the bed or slide onto the floor. it's a slippery feel - these pillows don't have it. If that's what you want, I wouldn't suggest them. But I haven't had any problems, I like the feel of silk. As another reviewer mentioned, the zippered area is a bit small. I was also concerned that my standard feather pillows would not fit. Be careful when using them and you'll be fine.
