Perfect for my old fat Jack Russell

My Jack Russell is spastic. She is 14 years old, overweight and has arthritis in her hip. She can no longer jump on furniture. I ordered these foam steps. Four levels. IDEAL HEIGHT. We opened the package and let it take shape. Six hours later they were stairs. After 12 hours they were done. I had no trouble putting the case on. Literally put them in front of a chair and the moment I had them there my kid jumped on them and climbed up. No problem. Now she has used them up and down many times in the last hour. she loves them When we go to sleep tonight we'll put them on the bed so the embers can climb up and down. They're a little shorter than our bed, but not by much, and she's already tried them and got on and off again with no problem. We've got vinyl floors now, and like I said, my baby is a burly monkey. Therefore the steps are a bit slippery. Not enough that she falls or anything, but enough that mom (me) doesn't like it. So we bought a roll of velcro from Joanna's craft store, laid it on the floor in front of the chair, and attached the other side to the bottom of the step. Did the same in the bedroom. And it keeps it firmly on the ground for her to use and mommy to feel safe. And it can still be moved from room to room. An added bonus that's really impressive for the company, they've included a tug of war toy in the kit. I really like it because, first of all, it's very thoughtful. Second, it's a positive reinforcement toy to show kids that steps are good for little ones who are scared. My child wasn't afraid. But when we opened the toy, she realized it was for her and happily accepted. lol. Like the product a lot. my child is happy It will be much more comfortable, easier, less painful or pain-free for them to climb their furniture. And I'm really glad to know that she doesn't have to rely on me to pick her up to put her up. She retained her independence and self-confidence until the last years of her life. Good product. Can recommend it unreservedly!
