What a terrible installation! But I passed the disappointment test. Warning, don't buy this unless you have a helper, better tools and lots of patience. I bought one of these for the 4960 a few years ago so I forgot how bad it is. The fan will get in the way of any tool that fits directly into the screws, so use an allen wrench with a long flexible head. The flexible hex wrench turns in the screw heads, making this a nightmare for those who don't have the best tools. I was able to tighten the screws easily with a screwdriver bit with the correct hex head and I just twisted the bit with my fingers. I removed the ram and everything else that was in my way. I gave 5 stars because the fan does its job well once you understand how to install it. Either way, the fan is quiet and keeps my CPU cool.
