Huge time saver! Keep the burners relatively clean and free from dust, grease and dirt. I like that we can quickly wipe or rinse them and I don't have to clean around the burners as often. I remember the gas company guy advising me not to leave the cells wet when cleaning as that would speed up their failure, especially in our humid climate. They make cleaning easier and keep our kitchen clean. Until we changed them. We still use the original four covers. We don't often fry or cook other messy things, but it's nice to know that we have the option to throw them out if we cause a real disaster or if we just don't feel like cleaning!
