Most lights and device mounts on my e-bikes are attached with some sort of rubber band or o-ring, but they still tend to slide over bumps. Which for me can be annoying, distracting and dangerous at the wrong time. Putting some of this X-Treme tape on my bike frame right where my lights and gadgets are mounted added just the right amount of grip to hold them. rock solid! The best part is there is no messy residue when you need to remove them. Just use a sharp knife to gently cut the tape and it will peel off instantly. Duct tape is designed to stick to itself, but it also fits exactly what you wrap it around. To activate the self-adhesive tape, pull taut while riding (as directed) and it creates a waterproof, grippy surface. when you're done Using this tape was a much easier solution for me than, say, using thin sheets of rubber with an adhesive backing and cutting to the right length/fit (an alternative solution I was considering). I might try using some of this tape to manage the cables on my e-bike, but we'll see.
