DO NOT BUY. Before I start I just want to say I had a previous PS3 for at least 2 1/2 years and it only recently failed so I bought this one it arrived brand new. Played it one day, it started out fine, then it started to freeze. I turned it off when I went to bed thinking maybe it just passed out. The next morning I turned it on and the TV stayed black. I made sure I connected everything correctly. and right. and turned it off for an hour or two, then tried again, this time it did the same thing, but after about 30 seconds it shut off completely, even with no red light, meaning it has no power at all. I am seriously disappointed and THIS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS THE STEAL. it literally peeled off after one night of NOT playing. and I have treated it with the utmost care (although it should have been mine for the next three years, but no). In my opinion, this seller is a thief selling broken goods to unsuspecting customers. DO NOT BUY BROKEN, DAMAGED ETC.
