Fits but has no attachment mechanism

The product appears to fill the curve below where the front guard ends and the horizontal guard begins. But the connection is inconvenient and there is no way to attach it to the pipe on the block itself. They rely on extensions that need to be tied together with front protection zippers to keep the item in place. The bike is a 1987 FXRS with stock tubing.
